Best for
Hats, garments, blankets, cushions. Quick to work and flexible.

How to work it

  1. Yarn over.
  2. Insert the hook into the next stitch.
  3. Yarn over and pull up a loop. You now have 3 loops on the hook.
  4. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.

Tips

  • A ch 2 turning chain is often used at the start of a row. It does not always count as a stitch, so follow your pattern.
  • Keep an eye on your three loops. If you only have two, you missed the first yarn over.
  • Working in the back loop only makes horizontal ridges and a stretchier fabric.

Put it to use in the pattern library, or learn to read a pattern.
