Hearth Basket
A sturdy storage basket in t-shirt yarn, with tucked handles. Good for logs, blankets or a pile of works in progress.

Materials
- T-shirt yarn (also called trapillo): about 100 m (110 yd)
- 9.0 mm crochet hook
- Stitch marker, scissors
Gauge
About 8 sc × 9 rounds = 10 cm (4 in). Work tightly. Loose stitches make a floppy basket.
Worked in a spiral. Jersey yarn twists as you work: let the hook hang free every few rounds to let it untwist.
